Terms of Service

Updated 15 October 2026

1. The service

ShopPrint lets you design and print invoices, packing slips, credit notes, and price and barcode labels for your orders. Features and design may change over time as the App improves.

2. Plans and billing

  • How billing works. Paid plans (Starter, Growth, Pro and Scale) are billed monthly in US dollars through Shopify, on your regular Shopify invoice. There are no setup fees and no per-document fees. We never see or store your card details.
  • Free trial. Every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing. Free trial days follow Shopify's billing rules.
  • No lock-in. There is no contract and no minimum term. You can cancel your paid plan at any time, and we never lock anyone in.
  • Cancelling. To cancel, switch to the Free plan on this page, or uninstall the app. Either one stops all future charges. If you cancel a plan you have paid for, your paid features stay on until the end of the month you paid for, then switch to the Free plan. If you cancel during the free trial, they end straight away.
  • No refunds. Each monthly payment is final. Once a month has been paid we do not refund it, in whole or in part, including when you cancel, downgrade or uninstall part-way through the month. This follows Shopify's own billing rules. To avoid a charge, cancel before the trial ends or before your next monthly payment.
  • Changing plans. Upgrades and switches take effect straight away. Any adjustment Shopify makes automatically when you move between paid plans follows Shopify's billing rules.
  • Uninstalling and installing again. Uninstalling cancels your paid plan right away and stops future charges, with no refund for the current month (Shopify gives no credit for the rest of the billing period). If you install the app again, it starts on the Free plan and you choose a paid plan again, which starts a new monthly payment. We delete your store's settings, invoice and credit note numbers and print history after you uninstall (see our Privacy Policy), so a new install starts with default settings and numbering begins again. Keep your own copies of the documents you need for your records.
  • What unlimited means. Scale has no monthly limit on documents or labels, for normal use by one store. If a store regularly goes far beyond 10,000 documents or 100,000 labels in a month, or uses the app to send spam or to overload our systems, we may ask you to move to a custom plan or to stop. We will talk to you first and will not switch anything off without notice, except to stop abuse. Invoice emails are for order records only, never promotions.
  • The Free plan. The Free plan includes up to 50 documents and 100 labels each month. After that, printing pauses until the 1st of the next month. Documents you already printed are never affected.
  • Price changes. We may change plan prices or features. A change applies from your next billing period, and you can cancel before it starts.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to break or overload it, reverse-engineer it, or use it to violate any law or Shopify's terms.

4. Your documents and your customers

ShopPrint formats your order data into documents such as invoices, packing slips and credit notes. You are responsible for what those documents say, including tax details, numbering and any legal requirements in your country. ShopPrint is not tax, legal or accounting advice. ShopPrint is not a party to your sales. You are responsible for your relationship with your customers, including refunds, chargebacks and any dispute about an order or an invoice.

5. Emailing invoices

You may email an invoice only to the address on that order, and only for that order. Invoice emails are for order records, not promotions: do not put marketing or promotional content in the note field. If you choose to send invoices by themselves, ShopPrint emails each order's invoice when it is paid or shipped; that choice is yours, and you are responsible for turning it off if it does not suit your store. We cannot guarantee that an email is delivered (for example, spam filters may block it). The invoice link stops working after 90 days.

6. Other services

The App relies on Shopify and on our hosting, email and AI providers. We are not responsible for outages or changes at those providers.

On the Pro and Scale plans the App includes an AI support assistant. It answers questions about ShopPrint, can make mistakes, is not tax, legal or accounting advice, and cannot change your account or plan. Please do not type customers' personal data into it. We may limit how many messages are available each month.

7. Data and privacy

Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy. You are the data controller for your store's and customers' data; we act as a data processor on your instructions. Customer name, email, phone and address are used only to render your printed documents and are not stored by us. The Data Processing Addendum in section 14 forms part of these Terms.

8. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost sales, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the three months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached. On uninstall, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time; the "last updated" date will change. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws that apply to Vendkit as the operator of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection laws where you live, including the GDPR, the UK GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA.

14. Data Processing Addendum

This addendum applies where we process personal data on your behalf, including under the GDPR, UK GDPR and US state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA. By installing or using the App you enter into it with us.

  • Roles. You are the controller (or "business"); we are your processor (or "service provider").
  • Subject matter and purpose. Providing the App's printing features: reading your orders and your customers' name, email, phone and address at the moment you print, and rendering them onto your invoices, packing slips and credit notes; and, only when you choose to email an invoice, sending it to the email address on that order.
  • Data and data subjects. Your shoppers' names, emails, phone numbers, addresses and order details, read at print time and not stored; order IDs and order numbers in your print history and invoice numbering; your staff's Shopify session details.
  • Duration. For as long as the App is installed, plus the deletion periods in the Privacy Policy.
  • Instructions. We process personal data only to provide the App and on your documented instructions (these Terms and your App settings). We never sell or share it, or use it for advertising or for our own purposes.
  • Confidentiality and security. Access is limited to people who need it and are bound by confidentiality. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, with access controls and monitoring.
  • Sub-processors. You authorise the sub-processors listed in the Privacy Policy. We will update that list before adding a new one, and you may object by uninstalling the App.
  • Assistance. We help you respond to data subject requests (including through Shopify's privacy webhooks) and with security or compliance questions.
  • Breaches. We will notify you without undue delay, and within 72 hours, after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting your data.
  • Deletion. When the App is uninstalled, or on Shopify's shop-redact request, we delete your store's data as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • Transfers. Data may be processed in the United States, Canada and other countries where our sub-processors operate. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum), which are incorporated by reference.
  • Information and audits. On reasonable request we will provide the information needed to show compliance with this addendum.
